Journalist at the Express Tribune Website. Senior sub-editor and in charge for night shift during which I am manage a shift of six people for all content (under DAPA* and newspaper) that goes up on the main newssite and various media and social media properties of Express Tribune, including and not limited to news stories, multimedia content, infographics, socially pivoted content branding, moderation of reader comments, etc. *DAPA: Discover Aggregate Publish Amplify: Responsible for advanced news monitoring using various sources, including a complex social media network monitoring for news and stories. Verifications of news breaking on social media, user generated content, geolocating images and video, and digital image forensics to authenticate UGC and then to report on verified CAR news sources. DDJ: Digital data journalism combined with data reporting and visualisation for data intensive reports. Also responsible for drafting and implementing content and social media policies for web based media properties of Express Tribune.
